about

I think this is the oldest track I had written, and it wasn't even meant to be for this album (or any album). I wrote it back in my Blackwater Park obsessed days (hence the similarities to a specific song on that album). All in all, I love this song, especially the strings.

lyrics

Open the door and the sun will break
Specters in reveries Stalking souls to take
Innocence subsided and divided
Into darkness bleak
As the shadows cover the mountains peak

I drink from the waters that flow down the mountainous vain
I follow the light that glows the broken path of wise men that left the stain
Of their weary feet as they walk into their last life in temples that cry
The piper that sings the same song to their farewell bids me welcome into this world
